A design collaboration between Stratus Vineyards and global, industrial designer Karim Rashid.
TASTING NOTE
This is the third bottling for this unique design collaboration between Stratus and Karim Rashid.
Select barrels of Cabernet Franc were left unfiltered and on their lees for this one-of-a-kind bottle. Designed by Karim to reflect the layers and stratification of glacial soil within the 55-acre Stratus vineyard, the deconstructed shape also traps the lees as the wine is poured - thereby acting as a 'decanter'.
Praise from the world's wine and design community continues, including a Good Design Award from the Chicago Anthenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design.
