Cascina Adelaide began in 1817 as a group of vine growers owning vineyards in two of the most prestigious crus, Cannubi and Preda. The estate was bought over 20 yrs ago by Amabile Drocco who immediately updated the estate by building a modern underground cellar, introducing a new barrel system and more than doubling the size of the vineyards. Drocco’s father was a vine grower in a small village not far from Barolo.
Red brilliant garnet, color with amazing aromas and flavors of plum, wild blueberry, cinnamon and licorice on the lingering finish. It's full bodied with fine tannins and structured acidity.
