Cascina Adelaide began in 1817 as a group of vine growers owning vineyards in two of the most prestigious crus, Cannubi and Preda. The estate was bought over 20 yrs ago by Amabile Drocco who immediately updated the estate by building a modern underground cellar, introducing a new barrel system and more than doubling the size of the vineyards. Drocco’s father was a vine grower in a small village not far from Barolo.
Nascetta is an aromatic white wine from the Piedmont region. The wine immediately wakens the nose and palate with its alluring characteristics of grapefruit blossom, resin, mango peel, and honey. Great balance of fruit and acidity. No oak on this one!!
