Long before Dom Pérignon, in 1531, Benedictine monks at the Abbey of Saint-Hilaire near Limoux crafted the world’s first sparkling wine: Blanquette de Limoux. This historic innovation marked Limoux’s debut on the world wine stage. Early records show the region’s lord, the Sieur d’Arques, toasting his victories with “flasks of Blanquette.” Honoring this legacy, a group of visionary winemakers founded a winery in 1946 and named it Sieur d’Arques, paying tribute to the region’s deep-rooted tradition of sparkling excellence that began nearly five centuries ago.
Je T'aime Brut has lingering, tiny bubbles with fresh aromas of white flowers, apple and citrus. It is well balanced with crisp flavors of peach, green apple and citrus fruits with toasted notes on the long, bubbly finish. A great sparkling for any celebration!
