Antica Fratta embarks on a new chapter with bold ambitions—to embody the very essence of Franciacorta. The cellar, located in Monticelli Brusati, has inspired admiration since the mid-19th century. In the late 1800s, Cav. Luigi Rossetti, a wealthy local merchant, transformed a 16th-century farmhouse into his elegant residence and the base of his wine business. To support this vision, he built stunning cellars by carving into the living rock of the hillside behind the villa. In 1979, these historic cellars were beautifully restored, returning the estate to its former splendor and reinforcing Antica Fratta’s place in Franciacorta’s storied winemaking tradition.
