Easy to enjoy and attractively packaged, Brownstone wines are standout California finds with a rich family legacy. For over three generations, the Scotto family has been making wine, honoring the traditions passed down from their Italian-American ancestors. In 1903, Great-Great-Grandpa Scotto immigrated from Italy to New York and settled in a Brooklyn brownstone near the docks where he worked as a ship’s caulker by trade and a winemaker by heritage. He taught his sons the craft, leading to the opening of Scotto’s Wine Cellars—a neighborhood landmark that still stands today. Brownstone wines pay tribute to this proud heritage with every bottle.

From the Central Coast in California—Rich cherry, plum and dark berry fruit flavors with soft, mellow tannins. A nice, easy-drinking cabernet.

When our great grandfather immigrated to New York in 1903, his family lived in a brownstone, which described both the sandstone construction material and the building style. This wine honors our Italian-American ancestors who often quarried, built and lived in brownstones.
