Straw-yellow with light greenish highlights. Intensely aromatic, fragrant, and fruity. Lots of nectarine, citrus blossom, wild flowers and mineral aromas and flavors. Sweet, but not too sweet, with great balance of fruit and acidity. Perfect on its own, as an aperitif or with desserts.
The 70 hectares that make up the estate include Tenuta Carretta in Piobesi d’Alba, a number of splendid vineyards in the terrain devoted to “Cannubi” Barolo, “Poderi Tavoleto” in S. Rocco Seno d’Elvio, “Cascina Bordino” in Treiso, and “Il Palazzo” farmhouse in Madonna di Como in Alba.
