San Jacopo is a farm founded in 1737 in Cavriglia, between the Chianti Classico and the Valdarno Superiore in Tuscany. It extends for 140 hectares located at about 300m of which 40 are vineyards, and then olive trees and woods, entirely converted to the Organic cultivation method since 2003.
The production area is the Chianti DOCG hills of Arezzo and the Valdarno Superiore DOC and Chianti Classico. The company is headed by Costantino Cattaneo, a member of the 2nd generation of the family. His vision is to carry on the production of historical wines of the territory but also to experiment with new methods of winemaking.
